The Odisha govt approved in February 2023, a proposal to amend rules for single
dependent transgender persons to avail of family pension.
The govt has approved the amendment to Odisha Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1992, making a single dependent transgender person eligible to avail family pension in case of the death of her parents in government service.

The Union Cabinet on 15 February 2023 approved “Vibrant Villages Programme” (VVP) for the Financial Years 2022-23 to 2025-26 with financial allocation of Rs 4800 Crore.

The office at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar, will be classified as an overseas office, allowing the IREDA to avoid foreign exchange hedging cost.
