Vadodara Gujarat Airforce Recruitment rallys 2020 Indian Air Force offers opportunities for unmarried Male candidates from all districts of state of Gujarat, UT of Daman & Diu and UT of Dadar & Nagar Haveli to join as airmen. The recruitment test is for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical trades) except Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security) and musician trades will be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force, Makarpura, Vadodara (Gujarat).Rally Dates, Application Dates, Educational Qualification, Age Limit, rally Dates All given below.

Note: Pre-Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 08 September 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 10 September 2020 on web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. In view of COVID-19 restrictions and consequent testing constrains, limited candidates can be tested. In case of over subscription, shortlisted candidates based on merit [Percentage (%) marks obtained in Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination/Vocational course (as applicable)] would be issued provisional admit cards. Only candidates issued with provisional admit cards are allowed to appear in recruitment rally.

Eligibility Qualification & Age:

For Group ‘Y’ Trades {Except Auto Tech, IAF (P), IAF(S) (a) Musician Trades) Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as inEnglish in Class XII or equivalent examination OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive)
For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade (b)Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.

Note – 1: Education Boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, shall only be permitted.

Note – 2: Exact aggregate % of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/ Intermediate/ Equivalent OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not be rounded off to 50%).

Selection process:

Airforce Group-Y conduct selection process four phases if you qualified each and every phase after you will be get call-up letter to training.

Documents Verification

Original educational certificates (10th passing certificate and 12th passing certificate & marks sheets) or vocational course passing certificate and marks sheets and other required applicable original documents like NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate, son of serving air forcepersonnel (SOAFP) certificate (or) discharge book, service book, service particular certificate/casualty service certificate (or) discharge certificate (if discharged from Army/Navy/government organisation), consent form (signed by parents if candidate below 18 years of age) and passport size colour photographs shall be required and scrutinized/verified at the examination venue prior to commencement of physical fitness test to ascertain the eligibility prima-facie.

Note: The original passing certificates / marks sheets will not be retained by the selection centre. The same will be returned to the candidates
on completion of detailed verification

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

In this pace-II Physical Fitness Test (PFT) which would consist of

Written Test: All candidates who qualify PFT shall undertake written test on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. The written test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Answers are to be annotated on OMR sheet. Detailed procedure shall be explained before conduct of the examination. Duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). CANDIDATES ARE TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY. Results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.

 Marking Pattern for Written Test:-
(i) 01 mark for every correct answer.
(ii) Nil (0) marks for un-attempted question.
(iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer or choosing more than one option as answer.

Adaptability Test- 1

All candidates who pass the
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) shall have to undertake Adaptability Test-1 (objective type written test) which
is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied
geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.

Adaptability Test- 2

All candidates who pass Adaptability Test – 1 shall have to undertake Adaptability Test- 2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability
Test- 2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

Medical Test

Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test -2 shall be medically examined in the Air Force Hospital, Dundigal. Medical Examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue.

  • (a) Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
  • (b) Urine RE/ME
  • (c) Biochemistry :- (i) Blood Sugar Fasting & PP (ii) Serum Cholesterol (iii) Urea, Uric acid,Creatinine (iv) LFT—Serum Bilurubin, SGOT, SGPT
  • (d) X- Ray chest (PA view) (e) ECG (R) (f) Tests for Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Abuse.
  • (g) Any other test necessary in the opinion of the Medical Officer.

Training:

Enrolment shall be for an initial period of 20 years (subject to condition) which may be extended upto the age of 57 years
(subject to service conditions). Initially, candidates shall be sent for a Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at designated Basic Training Institutes located at various Air Force Stations. On successful completion of JBPT, candidates will be allocated trades and sent for trade training of specified
durations which shall include Security training or any other training as per service requirements. Training is however liable to be terminated at any time if the trainee fails to achieve the required standards in academics, profession, physical fitness and discipline or is found to be medically unfit.

Pay & Allowances:

During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) pay shall be Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

Job Specification:

(a) Automobile Technician. As an Automobile Technician you will drive all types of light, medium and heavy automobiles, load carriers
and specialist vehicles like cranes, towing tractors, fork lifters etc., subject to service exigencies. You will also carry out minor repairs, day to
day maintenance and basic level servicing of the common user vehicles and specialist vehicles in the Indian Air Force inventory.
