SSC GD New Syllabus and Exam Pattern For 2021 SSC conducts an annual open examination for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.In this article, we will take you through the latest SSC GD syllabus and exam pattern of the SSC General Duty Constable Exam.

SSC GD Recruit vacancy for all trades are equal total process given below

  • Computer Based Examination(CBT)
  • Physical Efficiency Test(PET)
  • Physical Standard Test(PST)
  • Medical Test

Computer Based Examination(CBT)

This is the first step to get job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT . Online Exam will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections of the following subjects.

1)General Intelligence and Reasoning,

2)General Knowledge and General Awareness,

3)Elementary Mathematics,

4)English/Hindi.

  • The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • SSC has also fixed cut-off of marks for the CBT.

General Intelligence & Reasoning: This General Intelligence syllabus section mainly consists of both verbal and non-verbal types of reasoning questions. This test particularly includes questions that test the candidate’s analytical and logical reasoning skills and his/ her ability to observe and distinguish patterns through questions principally of non-verbal type.

The questions in this component revolve around matters of everyday observations and test the candidate’s knowledge of the environment around him/ her and topics related to India and its neighbouring countries such as:

  • General Polity
  • Geography
  • History
  • Indian Constitution
  • Scientific Research
  • Sports

Elementary Mathematics: This section primarily assesses the candidate’s knowledge of high-school level mathematical problems. According to the SSC GD syllabus, the following topics are:

It is imperative to note that the questions in all the above sections would be of matriculation (class 10th) level.
