All the candidates who are interested in this SSC Constable 2022 Recruitment and fulfill the eligibility can apply online from 27th October 2022 to 30 November 2022 The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification. Educational Qualification(As on 01-01-2023):
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.
Note: Due to unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three (03) years age relaxation beyond respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of the candidates as one-time measure for this recruitment.
Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for SSC GD Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules. The crucial date of age-limit will be calculated with reference.

This is the first step to get job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT . Online Exam will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections of the following subjects. 1)General Intelligence and Reasoning, 2)General Knowledge and General Awareness, 3)Elementary Mathematics, 4)English/Hindi.
SSC GD Syllabus and Pattern of CBT:
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:
General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Knowledge and General Awareness
The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 160 marks.
Each question will carry 2 mark.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Note: Relaxation is also there for the ST candidates the required height. For Male (ST)-162.5 & Female (ST)- 150 . Also for Male candidates the chest criteria is 76/5. Weight: For male and female candidates: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Visual Standards (Distant vision only):
Candidates who will be qualifying Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST) & shortlisted by the commission will be further called for the Medical Examination(DME). Finally based upon marks scored in Computer Based Examination (CBE) the final selection of candidates will be done.
