Selection Process

Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit for RRB JE Examination – 18 years

This is the first step to get job All candidates whose online applications are accepted are called to appear in the CBT . Online Exam will be held in English and Hindi language. will have four sections of the following subjects.

General Knowledge and General Awareness
Elementary Mathematics
English/Hindi.

The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 160 marks.
Each question will carry 2 mark.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Note: Relaxation is also there for the ST candidates the required height. For Male (ST)-162.5 & Female (ST)- 150 . Also for Male candidates the chest criteria is 76/5. Weight: For male and female candidates: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Candidates who will be qualifying Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST) & shortlisted by the commission will be further called for the Medical Examination(DME).
