SSC CHSL New Syllabus and Pattern 2023 SSC CHSL Recruitment is a two-stage computer-based examination. Candidates must clear the written test to qualify for the post. We can now take a look at the SSC CHSL detailed syllabus of each tier of the exam. Candidates should follow the SSC CHSL Subject Syllabus given below while preparing for the exam.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Date is going to be conducted in February 2023. Tier 1 syllabus consists of four sections namely General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam requires candidates to write an essay and a letter/petition in 200-250 and 150-200 words respectively. Essay topics usually come from current affairs, government schemes or social topics. Candidates should write topics either in Hindi or English. To get an idea about the type of questions, candidates can also refer to SSC CHSL Previous Year Question Paper.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern For Tier 1

SSC CHSL Tier 1 is the first step to success where candidates attend 100 questions competing against lakhs of candidates. According to the latest SSC CHSL Syllabus, candidates will be given 100 questions from 4 subjects; General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension should be attempted in 60 minutes.   • There is a negative marking in SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam. Giving a wrong answer to a question will lead to a penalty of 0.5 marks in all sections.
  • The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2022

SSC CHSL Tier II Syllabus

SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. All candidates must qualify all SSC CHSL Syllabus Sections for Tier-II Exam. Notably, the SSC CHSL subjects in Section-I and Section-II will have 60 questions each, while only 15 questions will be asked in Section-III (Module-I) i.e. Computer Knowledge.   • Number System: Computation of Whole Numbers, decimals And Fractions, and Relationship Between Numbers
  • Arithmetic: Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Average, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Partnership, Mixture & Alligation, Time and Work, Speed, Time & Distance, etc.
  • Algebra: School-level algebraic identities, Surds and Indices, Graphs of Linear Equations.
  • Geometry: Triangles and its centres, Triangle congruence and similarities, Circle and its chords, Angles subtended by chords of a circle, tangents, common tangents to two or more circles.
  • Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone & Cylinder, Sphere and Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular right pyramid with rectangular/square base.
  • Trigonometry: Trigonometric ratios, Trigonometric Identites, Heights and distances, etc.
  • Statistics & Probability: Use of tables and graphs, histogram, polygons, bar diagram, pie chart, mean, median & mode, standard deviation, etc,
